Bay Phil Plays Beethoven

  • James Logan High School Performing Arts Center (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

Be inspired by the triumphant music of Beethoven. Conductor Jung-Ho Pak leads the Bay Philharmonic in two of Beethoven’s most iconic works—the rhythmically exciting Seventh Symphony and the virtuosic Third Piano Concerto. Guest soloist Charlie Albright, who brings “the art of classical music improvisation to a new level,” (Philadelphia Inquirer), creates dazzling moments on the spot—just like Beethoven did. Together, Jung-Ho and Charlie explore the limitless possibilities and timeless relevance of music that remains very much alive.
