Cathy Chow
If you ask Cathy Chow about her background, she will tell you “I don’t consider myself an ‘artist’, not yet anyway. But that's what I want to be when I grow up.”
Cathy majored in art at The Ohio State University until she needed a real job and got a degree in nursing where her study of anatomy continued. Her mediums run the gamut from life drawing to abstract painting to 3D sculpture and bas relief. She studied sculpture with mentor Richard Murphy.
Cathy’s art has been known to stop traffic (if you meet her you, you should ask her that story). Her works have been featured in a few shows and privately. If you like what she does, you can special order something of meaning to you.
