Meet the Musicians…

CHRIS COLE

Chris Cole has been one of the most sought after recording and live vocalists in the Bay Area for over 30 years. His versatile vocal style and an easy going stage presence has not only attracted audiences worldwide, but has enabled him to surround himself with some of the top musicians in the area. With a career spanning 3 decades, Chris has found the musicians…and songs he truly loves… and has put together a band worthy of these tunes.

L-R:  Wayne Fettig, Marc Levine, John Douglas & Gerry Kennett

WAYNE FETTIG

Studied piano with the late, great Dick Hindman, who played with Richie Cole, Stan Getz and Manhattan Transfer. Wayne studied Brazilian music with elite Brazilian pianist Marcos Silva, and played for many years in the Bay Area with the Dick Bright Orchestra and the Rich Martini Orchestra.

Wayne has played in all major hotels in the Bay Area. He recently played a mini tour with guitar virtuoso John Jorgenson, and plays solo piano periodically in the Laurel Court at the Fairmont Hotel atop Nob Hill in San Francisco.

MARC LEVINE

Marc Levine, bassist, has played with Barry Manilow, Johnny Rivers, and The Undisputed Truth. His jazz group, Uncle Festive, toured the US, Europe, and Japan. Now settled in the Bay Area, he plays gigs with well-known dance band Pride and Joy and freelances with many other acts, as well as doing recording sessions and teaching.

JOHN PATRICK DOUGLAS

John Douglas is a woodwind player and music teacher from the San Francisco Bay Area. He plays and records jazz, classical, rock/pop, and world music, and has shared the stage with numerous local and nationally-known artists. He is a True Vibes Records recording artist, and has appeared on recordings by such diverse artists as Marcie Brown, Carrie Lyn Souza, Tom Patitucci, and A Thousand Dead.

GERRY KENNETT

Gerry Kennett was a member of the award winning University of Nevada Jazz Band. He soon branched out to performing for shows at Harrah’s, Harvey’s, and the Nugget on the Las Vegas/Reno/Tahoe circuit. After moving to the San Francisco Bay Area Gerry soon began working with Val Diamond, one of the stars of Beach Blanket Babylon. Val relied on Gerry’s drumming for many years in her solo performances at the Great American Music Hall, Bimbo’s, and The Boarding House. Since then he has been one of the Bay Area's most in demand freelance drummers as well as a popular music educator.
