Sherry and Ralph Yarnal established the Castro Valley location in 2010. The first time I walked into Yarnal Jewelers a few years ago, I was greeted by a friendly and knowledgeable staff. Sherry has helped me on a number of occasions, from appraising family estate pieces, to designing a perfect setting for a beautiful unset cameo, to creating unique pieces and lovely gift selections. My most heartfelt thanks are for her help in restoring my grandmother’s wedding ring that was damaged seemingly beyond repair. She worked with goldsmith Charlie, who did the beautiful reconstruction, and selected the perfect stone that was what would have been set in that era.
